I-80 Construction Project in Nebraska Begins April 3

The Nebraska Department of Transportation reminds travelers that weather permitting, I-80 construction will begin April 3, from reference post 326.74 to reference post 326.88 in Hamilton County, and reference post 368.16 to reference post 369.43 in Seward County.

I-80 work includes box culvert extension, grading, guardrail removal, and seeding and other erosion control measures. Traffic will be maintained with temporary traffic control devices. Anticipated completion is July 2023.

Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
