The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) reports that there will be lane restrictions and short-term closures on I-80 westbound between Exit 256 (Nescopeck/Conyngham) and Exit 242 (Mifflinville) on Monday, December 1, 2025, through Monday, December 15, 2025, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM for road surface grooving.
When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
