The Nebraska Department of Transportation reports that a major I-80 construction project will begin Monday, April 24 on I-80, from reference post 238.27 to reference post 247.88. All work is weather-dependent and subject to change.
IHC Scott, Inc., of Englewood, Colorado, is the contractor for this project. Work includes building interstate crossovers, roadway lighting and culverts to facilitate interstate reconstruction. I-80 traffic will be maintained with lane and shoulder closures. A 12-foot width restriction will be in effect.
The anticipated project completion date is May 2025.
