Motorists are advised that the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will implement a westbound lane closure on I-80 as part of the ongoing I-80 North Fork Bridges Project in Jefferson County.
The contractor anticipates a left lane closure on I-80 westbound on February 2, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, for safety precautions related to scheduled construction activities adjacent to the highway. Weather or other unexpected delays could delay the lane closure as late as February 6.
Motorists are encouraged to remain alert, follow posted signage, and allow extra travel time through the work zone.
This project is part of the ongoing PennDOT Major Bridges P3 Program.
