The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) advises motorists that a project will take place this week on I-80 westbound in Turbot Township, Northumberland County.
On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, contractors will remediate a water ponding issue on the bridge that carries the interstate over Route 254 at mile marker 215. Work will begin at daylight and is expected to take a several hours to complete.
Motorists can expect the right (driving) lane to be restricted in the work zone and should be alert, slow down, and drive with caution in the area.
