The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) reports that there will be a passing lane closure on I-80 westbound from Exit 256 (Nescopeck/Conyngham) to Exit 242 (Mifflinville/Mainville) on Monday, January 12, 2026, through Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily, for maintenance work, weather permitting.
When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
