The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and the City of West Sacramento continue with nightly construction work on eastbound and westbound Interstate 80 (I-80) and U.S. Highway 50 (US-50) for the Yolo I-80 Pavement Rehabilitation Project and the Sycamore Trail Pedestrian Overcrossing Project.

Motorists will experience some delays in both directions in the construction zone. Nearby residents can expect loud pile driving, construction noise from the pavement demolition work and the old concrete being removed and hauled away near US-50 in West Sacramento.

The work is part of a project to expand and rehabilitate the roadway surface on I-80 and US-50 in Yolo County and improve mobility.
