California I-80 Construction | I-80 Exit Guide

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has scheduled four nights of full-directional closures on Interstate 80 (I-80)  in Vallejo as part of a project to elevate six freeway overcrossings to allow the passage of new, taller semi-trucks beneath the freeway overpasses.

To date, Caltrans has raised three overcrossings. During the upcoming closures, work crews will elevate two more, the Georgia Street and Tennesse Road overcrossings.

Caltrans has scheduled a full overnight closure of eastbound I-80 in Vallejo on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 11:59 PM until 5:00 AM on Tuesday, March 1, and a full overnight closure of westbound Interstate 80 in Vallejo on Tuesday, March 1, from 11:00 PM until 4:00 AM, Wednesday, March 2. The consecutive nights of closures will allow Caltrans to raise the Georgia Street overcrossing.

To elevate the Tennessee Road overcrossing, Caltrans has scheduled a full overnight closure of eastbound Interstate 80 on Thursday, March 3, from 11:59 PM until 5:00 AM on Friday, March 4, and a full overnight closure of westbound Interstate 80 in Vallejo on Friday, March 4 from 11:00 PM until 4:00 AM on Saturday March 5.
