The Indiana Toll Road reports that motorists traveling I-80 in the Gary area should be aware of a temporary closure affecting access to the Indiana Toll Road eastbound.
Beginning at 6:00 a.m. (CT) on Monday, September 28, the entrance ramp from Broadway to the Indiana Toll Road eastbound will be closed for scheduled work. The closure is expected to remain in place until approximately 6:00 p.m. (CT) on Wednesday, September 30, weather permitting.
Alternate Eastbound Access
During the closure, motorists traveling on Broadway who need to access the Indiana Toll Road eastbound should use one of the following alternate entrances:
- Buchanan Street (Exit 14A)
- US 12/20 (Exit 17)
Motorists are encouraged to follow posted signage and allow additional travel time while work is underway.
