The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reports that motorists who travel on I-80 westbound and eastbound are advised of rolling roadblocks that will take place on Sunday, June 2, 2024, in South Centre Township, Columbia County between mile markers 239 and 240.
A contractor working for PPL will be implementing six 15-minute rolling roadblocks between the hours of 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM in order to pull wires across all lanes of the interstate. The work area begins three miles east of Exit 236 (Route 487/Lightstreet).
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
