The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) reports that it has planned a full weekend closure of the westbound I-80 Bayshore Freeway from 5th St. to 15th St. in San Francisco, scheduled for Friday, October 23, 11:00 p.m. until Monday, October 26, 6:00 .a.m.
This work is necessary for crews to place polyester concrete on the Westbound I-80 Bayshore freeway deck and will complete a broader I-80 Bayshore Freeway viaduct polyester concrete placement project which began on the eastbound I-80 Bayshore Freeway earlier this year.
During this weekend’s closure motorists must use the Fifth St. exit which is the last exit before the closure.
