The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) reports that two I-80 projects are set to begin April 21, 2025, weather permitting.
I-80, near Utica
Weather permitting, work will begin April 21 on I-80, from reference post 366.60 to reference post 363.80. Work on this project includes bridge repair on the County Road W overhead, east of Waco. Traffic will be maintained on I-80 with lane closures. Anticipated completion is May 2025.
I-80, east of Brady
Weather permitting, work will begin on April 21 on I-80, from reference post 197.50 to reference post 205.62. Work on this project includes bridge repair and asphalt resurfacing. An 11-foot width restriction will be in place. Anticipated completion is fall 2025.
Motorists should expect reduced speeds and lane reductions within the work zones and are reminded to drive cautiously through highway construction zones… buckle up, and to put phones down.
