Weather permitting, work will begin April 18 on an I-80 construction project from Big Springs to Overton, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Watts Electric Company, of Waverly, Nebraska, is the contractor. Work includes installing variable speed advisory signs and roadside cameras. Anticipated completion is Summer 2023.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
