The the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) reports that weather permitting, bridge joint replacement will begin November 4 on I-80.
Contractors will be performing bridge joint replacement on I-80 at mile marker 427. Work will start in the eastbound lanes and move to the westbound lanes. The contractor will alternate lane closures throughout the course of the project. Lane closures will be from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The work is anticipated to take 10 days.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
