Work Begins on I-80, Blue River Bridges in Nebraska

Omaha Nebraska I-80 Construction | I-80 Exit Guide

Work has begun on I-80 at reference post 380.96 in the eastbound lane, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT).

The contractor for this project will be performing bridge repairs at this location. Work includes milling, concrete repairs and concrete placement in the eastbound drive lane.

The repair work will require the eastbound driving lane to be closed until the work is completed. The I-80
eastbound on ramp at Exit 379 (Seward Exit) will be closed to accommodate the lane closure needed at
the repair site. Traffic should expect slower speeds through this area and delays are anticipated. A 12-foot
width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion is October 20, 2023.

Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones
down.
