The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) advises motorists of a lane restriction next week on I-80 eastbound in Hemlock Township, Columbia County, for a roadway repair project.
Between Monday, February 10, 2025, at 7:00 PM and Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 6:00 AM, contractors will be performing roadway repairs near mile marker 233, located approximately 1 mile east of Exit 232 (Route 42 / Buckhorn). Motorists can expect the right (driving) lane to be restricted where work is being performed.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, watch for stopped or slow-moving vehicle, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution through the work zone.
This overnight project is part of the multi-year reconstruction and resurfacing project on I-80 in Columbia County. This $11.1 million reconstruction and resurfacing project began in 2024 and is anticipated to be completed in 2025.
