Potential I-80 Traffic Delays as Construction Resumes in Central Pennsylvania

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation advises motorists that a roadwork project will resume on Interstate 80 eastbound and westbound in Hemlock, Mount Pleasant, Scott and South Centre Townships, Columbia County.

Beginning on Tuesday, February 14, the contractor, New Enterprise and Lime Co., will be installing sign foundations and signs on Interstate 80 eastbound between mile marker 241 (Route 11 / Lime Ridge exit) and mile marker 235 (Route 487 / Lightstreet / Bloomsburg exit). Work will be completed between the hours of 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM each night beginning Tuesday, February 14 and ending at 6:00 AM on Friday, February 17. Motorists can expect the right (driving) lane to be restricted.

Motorists are advises of potential I-80 traffic delays and should be alert, slow down, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution.
